Rabbi David and Rebbetzin Nechama Araiev
In 2014 Rabbi David and Rebbetzin Nechama Araiev became the leaders of the Ohr Avner Community. With Hashem's help and under their guidance, Ohr Avner is a thriving community. Rabbi David leads daily minyanim, teaches weekly classes, and learns privately with men and boys. Rebbetzin Nechama teaches weekly classes, learns privately with women and girls, runs the Ohr Avner Mikvah, runs holiday parties, and hosts for all shabbat and holidays.
In 2021 Michoel and Hadassah Brofman joined the team as Youth Rabbi and Rebbetzin. Morah Dassi runs Sunday Hebrew School, the JET Afterschool program, Bat Mitzvah Club, and Post Bat-Mitzvah Club for teen girls. R'Michoel, better known as Rebz, leads the boys youth group and "Teens Table" on Shabbat.
